Welcome

My name is Lance. I was born and raised in a small town in Indiana.

I enjoy telling stories, giving advice, getting advice, asking questions, and furthering understanding (my own and that of others). Every time I give someone helpful advice, I feel like I should be sharing it with more people. Every time I ask someone a question, I feel like I should be asking for second, third, and nth opinions. Every time I have a conversation with someone, I can’t help but think that others could have benefited from participating, be it for growth or entertainment.

I decided to start writing out my thoughts, questions, advice, and explorations, which lead me to start this blog.

Why? For me, it’s more convenient and enjoyable than making YouTube videos. Video editing takes a while, and there is enough red tape involved in making YouTube content that I’m not interested in that platform from a creation standpoint. It’s also more accessible, expedient, and scalable when compared to writing in a journal or speaking publicly. A blog lives as long as the page is active, and people are free to share, visit, and re-consume at their leisure.

That’s the joy of the interconnected world in which we live.
